A room constructed from repetition, then pushed toward overload. The floor recedes in measured units, but the surface won’t cooperate—smears, overpainting, and small square fragments that break the illusion.
Somewhere between architecture and interference.
DEBRIS FLOW
Built like a blueprint, pushed until it behaves like a storm. Pen-plotter structure underneath, then I step in with color—interruptions, corrections, noise. I’m chasing that moment where a plan stops reading as a plan.
STAR POWER
Starburst is not only the name of a candy but also an astronomical phenomenon. In astronomy, a starburst describes a period when a galaxy forms new stars at a sharply accelerated pace, sometimes hundreds of times faster than usual. The candy’s name is coincidental, but it’s a useful reminder that the same word can describe both something simple and something happening on a scale far beyond everyday experience. I’ve been drawing these off and on for the past few years (while eating the candy).
